Georgia is a country located at the intersection of Eastern Europe and West Asia. The capital and largest city is Tbilisi. Georgia is a unitary, semi-presidential republic home to Caucasus Mountain villages and Black Sea beaches.
As a solo traveller, I was somewhat wary of doing a tour alone for fear of being trapped for a day with a guide I wasn't keen on. I needn't have worried: Giorgi and his driver Tornike were great travelling companions - affable, hospitable, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic about Georgia and showing visitors the country. The tour itself was great value for money (especially on a sunny day - the view from the David Gareje monastery caves was stunning!), and I was pleasantly surprised by how much walking around & exploring I got to do, nicely balanced by some driving through the beautiful Georgian countryside. Giorgi clearly loves what he does and put in the effort to make sure I had a good time (Tornike even drove me to the airport the next day at 0300 to catch my flight!), and I'd highly recommend a tour with him!Show More
