A look at life in Grenada
The Carenage is a landmark on the island of Grenada and is a must-see when you visit the island. You can see ships bringing in goods, fishermen bringing in the catches of the day, commuters coming and going, and just your typical island city life activity. It’s definitely worth it to take a stroll around the Carenage on the sidewalk, just be careful because cars tend to drive fast. You can park a car along the sides of the roads, but again just be careful and look both ways! I recommend parking near the statue at the center and walking toward Sails Restaurant to get the full effect of the area. The statue was a gift from Italy and it has an interesting story to it, but I will let you check that one out for yourself! Be sure to say hello to the locals and check out the House of Chocolate while you are there!Show More
